Build a Bear

When Gabe turned one we took him to build a bear and made a bear for him. We thought it would be cute to take Gabe there to make a bear for Cameron for his birthday. We were able to get a voice recorder to capture Gabe saying "Good morning Cameron!" It is the cutest thing ever. Cameron loves it! He has been missing Gabe when he is at school, looking for him around the house. Now we can play the bear and make him happy again.

Nathan turns 30 and Cameron is close to 1

We had a surprise party for Nathan over the weekend at my parents house. We had old friends from high school, neighborhood friends, and family all in on the surprise! He claims he did not know a thing!! We also took the opportunity to let Cameron celebrate his birthday a bit early (two weeks) with his dad. The weather was not the greatest, but we still had a great time (some crazy schoolside people even got in the pool!) Thank you everyone for coming and celebrating with us.

The Cakes

Since it was Nathan's 30th birthday, he had his own cake. I got a picture of him at 1 years old from his mom for his cake. For Cameron's cake, I had a coworker make his cake. It turned out great as you can see! Everyone was talking about it all night. THANK YOU JULIA!!! And both tasted great.

Cake Time

We had a special little bear cake for Cameron to eat. Unfortunately he did not want to dive right in! We even gave him a bit of Nathans cake, but as you can see it ended in tears! Oh well, we will try cake again on his birthday (maybe earlier in the day!)

Presents

Cameron opened a few of his gifts before he got too tired. He really loved the paper! Gabe was more then willing to help him open his gifts!! We finished opening the rest the next morning when grandpa tom was there. Thank you everyone for sharing in his special day!

Gabe is 3

Gabe is officially 3!! We had a small birthday party at the local metro park on his actual birthday with is Grandparents and cousins. We did a cookout, played games, took a very long walk, had cake and opened a few presents. Thanks to all for making it a wonderful birthday for Gabe.
